- 2 large handfuls fresh green beans
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tbs extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- Fresh cracked black pepper
- Salt
- 1/4 cup Asiago cheese, freshly grated (you can sub fresh parmesan)
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
Instructions
- Start by tossing the green beans with the oil, garlic, soy sauce, salt and pepper in a large bowl.
- Over medium high heat, add the green beans to a cast iron skillet or sauté pan. Let them set for a good 4 minutes- you want them to get charred.
- Begin to toss around and set for 4 minutes. Now, keep tossing for an additional 4 minutes and remove from pan.
- Grate the asiago over the top and add the toasted walnuts.
